Diablo has litterally thousands of different weapons that you can come across. It is probably safe to say that you will NEVER see every possible item (I think someone told me there were 4 billion combinations...). However, each item is generated, at random, from a list of the basic items. Here is the list of all those basic items.
You may want to print out copies of these pages for personal use while in the dungeon. It would be nice to know what you've come across down there, after all... :)
